Andy Warhol from New York to Stelline



The exhibition “Andy Warhol from New York to Stelline. Leonardo di Warhol / Warhol di Amendola” celebrates the master of pop art through the pictures of the great art photographer Aurelio Amendola:

20 portraits realized in New York in 1977 and in 1986 in the Warhol factory and with the original” The Last Supper “, by Warhol created between 1985 and 1987, a few months before his disappearance, during his stay at Palazzo delle Stelline, just opposite the Vincent Cenacle.

The exhibition is open from 19 September to 29 October 2017, at Fondazione Stelline, Corso Magenta 61, Milan. Free entrance.

The exhibition has been realized with the partnership of Credito Valtellinese, the owner of the masterpiece, with  Lombardy Region and Municipality of Milan and the support of the Ministry of Economic Development and ICE Agency.

On this occasion 20 of the most representative limited edition products realized by exhibitors at the 112th edition have been displayed  for  “Mipel meets Warhol” contest.
